When most people think about taking a casino holiday, the bright lights of Las Vegas automatically springs to mind. In the city that never sleeps any holidaymaker looking for the thrill from big casinos and the devilish nightlife, will definitely have the time of their life in Sin City. But if you are looking for something a little bit different, here are some top destinations to try your luck with on your next casino holiday.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Gambling was given the green light in Jamaica in 2008 and has been a budding casino spot ever since. Originally, only one casino was legally opened in Montego Bay, which was followed by a number of resorts that gained licenses for casinos and gaming lounges thereafter. Get in the Jamaican party spirit and play a game of cards at the tables or slot your luck in at the machines.

Aruba, Caribbean

If you are looking for white sandy beaches and romance, alongside a spot of game play, Aruba is the perfect setting for relaxing in the sun by day and gambling the night away in the evening, playing the local game of Caribbean Stud Poker in the 8,000 feet Alhambra Bazaar.

Sun City, West Africa

Since gambling has been made legal in some parts of South Africa, Sun City is not only a hot gaming spot but a visual hotspot too. Mix your thrill of playing the game for Las Vegas type shows and dine in one of the many luxury restaurants and hotels, whilst spotting local wildlife on the edge of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve,

Macau, China

Known for its diverse nightlife and frantic pace, the Macau region of China is home to many a gambling hot spot. No matter what time of day the casinos, restaurants and shops are open twenty-four hours a day. Table games are ongoing at 18 casinos and the locals have nick-named the slot machines ‘hungry tigers’…feeling peckish?

Monte-Carlo, Monaco

If its glamour that your after then Monte-Carlo is the gambling destination for you. Home to the opulent 1863 Monte Carlo Casino, the palace is home to magnificent sculptures and an unmissable marble and gold atrium. This gambling hotspot offers style, glamour and mystery and is home to both European and American gambling games.

Bahamas, Caribbean.

For those with more expensive tastes, the Bahamas is home to a vast range of casinos and gambling options. In particular the Atlantis Resort, on Paradise Island, houses fairy-tale glass sculptures, towers and a seven-acre lagoon; the perfect setting for gambling, drinking and dining the night away.

Which gambling hotspot is next on your casino hit list except for the 888 alternative? Whether you are looking to relax on a sandy beach in the day, hit the shops, or go on safari, you can be sure to find the perfect destination.
